Dr. Sritharan is a distinguished urologist with over two decades of surgical experience. A graduate of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), he was awarded a Master in Surgery from the National University of Singapore and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh). He further enhanced his expertise with subspecialty training in vascular access for hemodialysis and kidney transplantation at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide, and in advanced urological surgery at Alfred Hospital in Melbourne.

Dr. Sritharan played a pioneering role in developing kidney transplant services in Malaysia, particularly at Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM). He has also trained numerous urologists and mentored medical students, making significant contributions to Malaysia’s urological academic community.
